What Is The Stewardship Program?
- The Stewardship Program is a simple, practical, and above all, a Christian plan to finance and operate our church.
- The stewardship Program places responsibility of supporting our church right where it belongs - on every member.
- No one member is asked to give a specific amount - there are no dues. All that is asked of you is that you give a small percentage of what you ave received from our Lord, in order to sustain our Archangel Michael Church and its various ministries.
What Is My Stewardship?
- My Stewardship is what I decide to give, bearing in mind that my gift will help to sustain our church and its various ministries.
- My ability to recognize that regular giving to my church is a good measure of my feelings toward God.
What Should My Stewardship Pledge Be?
- The ideal, which we are striving to implement in our program, is based on allowing each individual to give according to their means and conscience. Can you afford to give $10/wk.? Can you afford $20/wk.?
Who Should Make a Commitment?
- Everyone 18 years of age and over, who is self-supporting and who wants to assume his/her responsibility to their church.
- Husbands and wives can pledge joinlty or separately.
How Shall I fulfill My Stewardship Pledge?
- Weekly or monthly offerings are recommended because it is easier for the individual or family to manage regular contributions.
- You can use the weekly envelopes that will be sent to you and you can place them in the offering tray on Sunday or mail them to the Church Office.
- Please bear in mind that with the Stewardship Pledge Program, you will be assisting your church in planning for the future and you will be sustaining your church on a consistent basis.
What Happens If a Personal Financial Crisis Arises?
- Your Pledge is not a contract, is kept in the strictest of confidence.
- You may decrease or increase your pledge if circumstances dictate. All that is necessary is a call to Fr. Dennis.
What Happens If I Move Out Of The Area?
- Your pledge can be cancelled or adjusted. All that is required is a call to Fr. Dennis.
